For me, interior design is a sublime form of storytelling. A well-told design story captures the heart and imagination from the first glance, the first step within and transports the dweller to the ineffable magic of the experience that is home. Finding the language of design that tells my client’s story and lets it sing is the joy and purpose of my work. This is where the vision for each project begins at Jensen Interior Design. For each client this tale is completely unique. Capturing these intangibles - in their true colors - is what elevates each project beyond exquisite form and function. I guess you could say it is giving name and form to a more subtle mystery. And if I’ve done my job right, we will have created the space for an experience of self-recognition, where each client can say, with certainty and joy, ‘This is my story’.
